Civet Regal

This is intense. I set out to create a perfume version of Civet Royale Absolute, with one challenge in mind: to amplify the essence of a natural, vintage, animalic, and surreal civet.

Extending such a profile into a perfume demanded both experimentation and intuition. At times, it felt like working within a black box—uncertain yet evolving in a way that aligned with the vision of this challenge.

When I compare both scents, they truly feel like twins—one as the absolute, the other its perfume embodiment.

One strength alone couldn’t do this blend justice—so I’m offering two concentrations: Parfum for an assertive, noticeable, yet reserved presence; and Eau de Parfum for a bright, louder, more diffusive expression.

I reserved some of Civet Royale, tincturing and aging for another last round, which will be dubbed Civet Finalé. But that will not be released for a few months. Until then, I hope you'll enjoy this spray-perfume interpretation of Civet Royale!
